SAFE DEPOSIT LOCKERS AND SAFE CUSTODY SERVICES

Safe Deposit Locker is a facility extended to the customers to enable them to keep their valuables / documents etc in a specially designed locker on payment of prescribed rentals.

Safe custody of securities and sealed packets

• Lockers can be rented to : Individuals either single or jointly, Non-residents
• A renter may appoint agent to have access to the locker after completing necessary formalities
• Lockers will be available into different sizes according to your need
• Rental will be collected in advance
• Standing instruction can be accepted for further transfer of rent from Savings / Current A/cs
• Renter will enjoy confidential relationship with the bank  

NON - RESIDENT INDIAN SERVICES (NRI)

An Indian  Citizen who stays  abroad  for Employment / carrying on Business or Vocation outside India or stays abroad under circumstances indicating an intention for an uncertain duration of stay abroad is a Non-Resident

Bank of Baroda offers following services to Non-Resident Indian staying in Fiji. Bank assists to open any of following accounts at our branches in India and provide necessary guidance and help in Deposit of funds in these Schemes

·  FOREIGN CURRENCY NON-RESIDENT FIXED DEPOSIT (FCNR)

·  NON-RESIDENT (EXTERNAL) FIXED DEPOSIT IN RUPEES (NRE-FD)

·   NON-RESIDENT (EXTERNAL) SAVINGS RUPEE ACCOUNT FULLY REPATRIABLE (NRE SB)

·  NON-RESIDENT (ORDINARY) FIXED DEPOSIT IN RUPEES (NRO)

·  NON-RESIDENT (ORDINARY) RUPEE SAVINGS BANK DEPOSIT (NRO – SB)

PORTFOLIO SERVICES

Our Bank also offers total  package of portfolio  investment  services to NRIs at the designated branch.

The following NRI Portfolio Investment Services are available:

• Purchase & Sale of Shares and debentures on any recognised Stock Exchange in India through approved brokers
• Obtaining R.B.I. Approval wherever required for purchase / sale of shares and debentures and for reinvestment etc
• Obtaining tax clearance / no objection  certificates  and other  services  in  taxation matters for NRIs through Income Tax Consultancy Cell
• Safe custody facilities for shares and debentures, including giving and  taking delivery of shares and debentures against sales / purchases made by NRIs
• Collection of interest and dividends on shares and debentures
• Making application  for  new   issues  and right  issues  of  shares  and debentures on specific authorization from NRIs
• Investment in units of UTI, Government Securities etc.

To give a further boost to NRI Services and in order to cater the growing needs of NRI Customers, Bank has set up an NRI Desk at
its International Division,Corporate Centre,Mumbai.

The desk is functioning in total synergy with Indian as well as Overseas branches of the Bank. It is a focal point for addressing issues,
clarifications etc. relating to NRI Customers.
