FOREIGN CURRENCY ACCOUNT

Our customer having regular receipt / payment of Foreign Currency can open Baroda FOREIGN CURRENCY ACCOUNT to manage their cash in Foreign currency.

As per your requirement, you can maintain your account in Foreign Currency of Australian Dollar (AUD), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), US Dollar (USD), Great Britain Pound (GBP) and EURO. This account will help you to manage your Foreign Exchange Risk in case fluctuation of Exchange Rate and Devaluation of local currency.

For opening of Foreign Currency Account, you have to obtain prior approval of Reserve Bank of Fiji.

Reserve Bank of Fiji Restrictions

Under existing restrictions the prior approval of the Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) is required to open a foreign currency account, unless you are a non-resident individual or business, in which case accounts can be opened without prior approval.
